Dear reader,

We are Ella, Paolo and Leo Rese. We are ex city dwellers who have escaped the traffic and pollution common to urban centres and in building these flats we are able to offer hospitality to others who want to get away from the stresses of daily life in the city, especially nature lovers.

 We started this project many years ago in The National Park of Cilento and the Vallo di Diano, uncontaminated areas with no factories, where traffic is virtually non-existent and the sun shines generally 300 days of the year. This area is one of the few which continues to be uncontaminated and has been chosen by UNESCO as World Heritage and as Biosphere Reserve MAB-UNESCO (Man and Biosphere).

 We are near the archaeological sites of Paestum, Velia and Pompeii and close by, in the village where GianBattista Vico did some of his most famous writing you will find the library dedicated to him. The Tyrrhenian Sea and the densely wooded mountains such as the Alburni and Mount Gelbison (also known as the Sacred Mountain) are as splendid as our artificial lake, our hills, olive groves and vineyards, along with the castles and abbeys, buffaloes and mozzarella, and many small stone villages.

 Go by ferry or hydroplane along the Amalfi and Sorrentino coasts to close-by Capri where you can enjoy the beauty of Roman ruins alongside the style of local and international fashion. From some of our flats, while overlooking the vineyards and olive groves to the magnificance of the National Park, Capri can be seen lit up by our sunset.

Those who miss the city confusion are only a hop skip and jump away from various restaurants and pubs and a 5 minute walk from the flats will take you to a modern supermarket, Post Office, Bank and pizzeria. The sea is a 10 minute car ride away and the station is even less. We offer every possible assistance for those travelling by train or plane and the main roadway, ss.18, will bring you within a short distance of our flats.
